Job Description

Job Description:
1 . Meet the patient and family on arrival to the unit.
2 . Document history & physical examination within 24 hours of admission
3 . Write daily progress notes at least once in 24 hours and more frequently if patient
condition requires more frequent observations.
4 . Write all orders in legible writing in the " Physician order sheet" , after
confirmation with a senior colleague or consultant.
5 . Assist his/her consultant surgeons in the operating room.
6 . Send appropriate referrals and communicate with consultants.
7 . Will be a part of Trauma team.r Resident –General Surgery
